Paneer tikka masala is a very popular punjabi cuisine and is the most loved gravy across India.

It is made with marinated paneer cube mixed with the onion, tomato and cashew gravy.

Ingredients
  

FOR TIKKA

  • ¾ cup Curd / Yogurt Thick
  • 1 tsp Besan / Gram Flour
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ¼ tsp Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ Capsicum, Cubes
  • ½ Onion, Petals
  • 12 Cubes Paneer / Cottage Cheese
  • Oil For Roasting

FOR CURRY

  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1 Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • ¼ tsp Coriander Powder
  • ¼ tsp Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • ½ cup Cashew Paste
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Finely Chopped
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi Crushed

Instruction For Preparation of Marinated Paneer

  • In a bowl take ¾ cup thick curd.
  • Add 1 tbsp of besan,1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp chilli powder, ¼ tbsp turmeric powder, ¼ tbsp cumin powder, ½ tbsp garam masala and mix all well.
  • Also add 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp oil and salt as per taste.
  • Mix all well until it turns creamy.
  • Now, add ½ capsicum,½ onion and some Paneer cubes.
  • Mix properly without breaking Paneer cubes.
  • Now cover the bowl and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 min roast those Paneer cubes and veggies in 2 tbsp oil on medium flame till it turns golden.
  • Clip to the other side and cook properly.
  • So, our paneer tikka is ready. Keep them aside.

Instruction for Preparation of Curry

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai
  • Now add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and let it cook till the onion turns golden.
  • After that add species like chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and salt as per taste.
  • Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add 1 cup tomato puree and ½ cup of cashew (kaju) paste and let it cook.
  • Now, add the marinated Paneer mixture we made.
  • Cook till the species cook well.
  • Add 1 cup of water and more with required to adjust the consistency of gravy.
  • Now, add Paneer tikka we prepared and mix well.
  • Now, let it cook for about 10 minutes on low flame.
  • Garnish the curry with some finely chopped fresh coriander.
  • And, finally your Paneer Tikka Masala is ready to serve.
